Yes, you read that right. Just yesterday, ScreaM Records announced that Alesso would be collaborating with renowned EXO vocalist Chen on an upcoming K-Pop track. Along with this groundbreaking news, SM Entertainment revealed that the release date will be this Friday, October 7th. The song, a re-release of his acclaimed hit “Years,” has already built up immense anticipation, as the announcement has reached over 10,000 shares on each publication’s platform.
Although ScreaM Records has only been active for six months now, it has seriously made a name for itself, with sponsored releases from superstars such as R3hab and Ferry Corsten. This track is sure to continue this early success, and we can’t wait to see what else the prodigious record label has in store.
This news follows Alesso’s other re-release of “I Wanna Know” with Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai. Clearly, Alesso is looking to take advantage of the burgeoning Asian market for EDM.
