In order to tease their forthcoming EP Californian-duo SKULS have decided to, well, make an EP! Transient which dropped late last week will serve as a prelude to a full-length EP that will be released late this week via Terrorhythm Recordings.
As prelude would suggest, Transient is short and sweet clocking in with only two singles – “Blok” and “Knuckles” that are distinctive in both sound and nature giving us a good look at the young duo’s versatility. “Blok” is a lean cloud rap banger which shows off the duo’s impeccable sound design while “Knuckles” is more an atmospheric trap-influenced piece showing off some airy yet mellow synths.
