Now that Calvin Harris has had some time to work out his feelings after splitting up with Taylor Swift, it seems that he’s a little more willing to wear his heart on his sleeve.
During a recent judging session for the X Factor, Matt Terry sang a piece of an original song about having been recently dumped by his long-time girlfriend. “I was in a long-term relationship with my girlfriend and she left me, but that happens,” Matt said. “It happens to all of us – it’s life right?”
Rather enthusiastically, Calvin replies, “Yeah, of course! Now you’re on TV! I bet she’s sad right now, dude.”
During Terry’s performance, Harris could be seen visibly tearing up – maybe thinking about his own long-term relationship that had just ended? Perhaps.
