Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha recently stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform their hit single “In The Name Of Love,” but fans were treated to a rare delight as they burst into a live cover of Twenty One Pilots’ “Heathens.”
As a whole, the cover is surprisingly dope, and even though the spotlight centers on Bebe Rexha’s performance, we’re happy to see the two branching out in such an unexpected direction. Rexha’s haunting vocals wonderfully capture the essence of Twenty One Pilots’ original work, while Martin Garrix lends his skills to a distorted rhythm guitar, and the entire ensemble transforms the song into a chilling iteration.
