For the electronic dance music industry, the annual Amsterdam Dance Event is one of the most important gatherings of industry executives, artists, influencers, agents, booking agents and managers of the year. Held over 5 days, people from around the world congregate in Amsterdam to discuss the past, present and future of dance music.
One artist performing this year will be Mike Williams. Mike is only 19 years old and a recent signee to Spinnin’ Records and MusicAllSt
“For me it’s the first time taking part of the ADE as an artist, and already my schedule is quite full. I’ll be playing several gigs, including Spinnin’ Sessions in Club AIR and warming up for Tiësto at his big concert in the Ziggo Dome, as well as doing lots of meetings during the day. So yeah, really excited about this.”
Of the mix, he says a lot of the records mean a lot to him personally, and represent the breakthrough year he’s had. “On the one side you hear tracks I’ve played a lot during the summer, of course including my Tiësto collab ‘I Want You’ and recent remix of Janieck’s hit ‘Feel The Love’. On the other side you hear some new stuff, including Tchami’s new single and a teaser of my own new single ‘Take Me Down’, which comes out during ADE. I made this track with all those festivals in mind, but wanted to cross it over a bit to a wider audience. Looking forward to releasing it and finally share this with you guys!”
