Summer’s almost gone but we’ve still got time for one more beautifully tropical deep house song before October! One of my favorite producers in the genre Sonny Alven has absolutely been killing it with single after single and now he’s teamed up with producer/artist NoMBE to redo NoMBE’s hit from last year “California Girls” into a warm house remix.
This new version of “California Girls” opens with some beautifully mellow string plucks before NoMBE’s warm vocals kick in. Like its predecessor, this version of the single features wistful lyrics, but it’s the new more “fragile” feeling of the entire song that truly sets it apart.
