Monstercat has officially fallen victim to Harambe memes. Who do we have to thank for this? None other than Dirty Audio, a rising trap producer best known for his collaborations with Rickyxsan and Deorro. “Gorilla Glue” – Dirty Audio’s debut with the label – marks the sixth Monstercat debut from a well-known artist this month, not even including NERVO‘s upcoming single “Anywhere You Go.” Monstercat is expanding on all fronts, and we couldn’t be more excited.
While the label has released some solid trap music throughout 2016, “Gorilla Glue” just might top them all. This thing has a great balance of quality and mainstream appeal, as well as one of the absolute dirtiest bass lines I have heard all year. What could this track be missing (other than maybe a decent MC, like – I don’t know – 2 Chainz)? Whether you’re an avid follower of Monstercat or not, if you’re a trap fanatic, “Gorilla Glue” is just the track for you.
