Late last week, we received a ripped copy of Feed Me’s upcoming remix of Deadmau5’s most timeless classic, “Strobe.” Reported to be an inclusion on label mau5trap’s Mau50100 remix EP, the nine-minute rework was taken from Matisse & Sadko’s radio show where it was first broadcasted. Now, the song has been uploaded in full for our listening pleasure in stunning quality.
The song takes a multi-dimensional approach to the hit song, guiding the listener through endless sonic environments that both support the original production and infuse it with Feed Me’s own unique style and approach. The result is a remix that pays worthy homage to a true masterpiece, exploring entirely new avenues within its structure and saving its key components for the listener to revisit as if it were the first time.
