Gallant Covers “Closer” by the Chainsmokers & Sings with Elton John

The world has fallen head over heals with vocal powerhouse Gallant. Since his singing talents have shined on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, it appears that Christopher Gallant is reaching greater fame than anyone could have predicted and continues to do so. Even his most recent efforts display his momentous talent.

Uploaded online to BBC Radio 1 earlier today, Gallant shared a live cover of the song “Closer” by the Chainsmokers and Halsey. Utilizing his extravagant vocal skills, Galant throws his voice high and low while his band plays an instrument-driven rendition of the EDM-pop track. Check out the video of Gallant’s cover in the Live Lounge below.

But wait, there’s more!

Aside from his cover of “Closer,” Gallant was invited on stage to perform his successful single “Weight in Gold” with none other than British music icon Elton John. After a warm introduction from the legend himself, Gallant took the stage and the two sang a duet that was as incredible as his performance with Seal last year. Elton John takes the lead while Christopher dances to the rhythm of his own creation. Then Gallant creeps in for the second verse and finishes with his loud, soulful energy. It’s one of those live takes that just captivates viewers watching it live and fans seeing it on the Internet the next day which makes Gallant one of the biggest artists to watch for the next few years.

Check out the performance below and let us know what you think.
