This is a tight little pop/dance gem from AYER which, according to the producer, is “a song about friendship.” That sounds pretty damn good, so let’s just dive straight into it.
The most impressive thing to me is that not only does AYER sing on this track, he also produces on it. The feel-good “friendship” tones that AYER mentions early are present through the entire song – particularly through the different progression of instruments. From piano to drum to saxophone, AYER leads us on a wonderfully uplifting pop-inspired journey.
