Don’t let the “SoundCloud collective” label fool you, Epicure is so much more than than that and very much on the come up. Their sixth release features producer EGZOD and vocalist Caiti Patton working in tandem to create a stellar bass/dubstep track.
I’m not usually too fond of aggressive dubstep as writing material, but the addition of a female vocalist like Caiti gives the track a much-needed balance between brash and beautiful which works out perfectly in this case. Exciting vocal chops, a silky melody, and a well-constructed drop also stand out to me as highlights of the track.
