Last Thursday, Shaun Frank was one of the few artists invited by The Chainsmokers to play a specially curated Red Rocks set featuring cln, Herobust, and San Holo. As one of the co-writers of The Chainsmokers’ smash hit with Halsey, “Closer,” Shaun was understandably given official remix duties, and there’s no better way for him to tease it than in his official Red Rocks recap video for the ultimate The Chainsmokers connection.
Though the remix only plays through the first minute or so of the video and serves only as a backdrop to the actual video content, you can get a pretty good sense of the direction that Shaun took. Chopped vocals and a melodic sounding Shaun Frank drop right after a beautifully constructed build-up – I can definitely smell another hit coming with this one!
