Nicky Romero skyrocketed to the top of dance music with “Toulouse,” “Symphonica,” and a slew of other massive hits, but we were surprised to find out the Dutch producer has also had a hand in a startling number of charting pop music.
As Billboard pointed out, Romero is secretly a pop-production mastermind, having muscled his way onto the credits of works by Rihanna, Britney Spears, and David Guetta, to name a few. Below are some of Romero’s covert pop productions, and be sure to had over to Billboard to discover a couple others that we had no idea Romero was a part of. Though his name may not be in the title, each of these tunes boast a clear influence of Nicky Romero’s trademark production, just have a listen.
Rihanna – Right Now Feat. David Guetta
Sure, it says “Feat. David Guetta” in the title, but this track screams of Guetta’s collaboration with Nicky Romero, “Metropolis.” Rihanna had just come off massive success with “We Found Love” and “Where Have You Been,” produced by Calvin Harris, and “Right Now” ventures just a little deeper into the harder electro realm. 
Britney Spears – It Should Be Easy ft. will.i.am
Britney Spears was once the queen of pop music, and her team jumped on the rise of electronic dance for 2013’s Britney Jean. Apart from productions by Sebastian Ingrosso, Otto Knows, and the ubiquitous David Guetta, Spears brought on Nicky Romero to take care of this collaboration with will.i.am.
David Guetta – Bang My Head feat. Sia & Fetty Wap
Working with David Guetta once again, Romero helped craft this 2014 chart-topper. The sultry beat bursts into a characteristic dance euphoria, and Romero’s crunchy percussion elements provide a glamorous support for Sia and Fetty Wap to crush the vocals.
