The Chainsmokers Hit Single Goes Platinum

The Chainsmokers have become dance music’s hottest stars as of late. You can’t go down the street or to your local grocery store without humming along to songs like “Roses,” “Don’t Let Me Down” and their latest release featuring Halsey, “Closer.” With “Roses” and “Don’t Let Me Down” already hitting platinum in 2016, it wasn’t a far stretch to believe that their most-talked-about single ever would follow quickly.

Taking to Twitter to announce the news, The Chainsmokers revealed that after hitting #1 on the Billboard charts, the track has seemed to be certified platinum, and they’re not short of thrilled, if you can’t tell. A huge congratulations goes out to these guys in the wake of this news and we can’t wait to see where they go next.
