It’s been about a month since we last year of DVBBS following the Balaton Sound Incident, but they’re hoping to move forward by doing what they do best – release new music. Their newest single is “Ur on My Mind” featuring vocals from DVBBS’ very own Alex van den Hoef.
The drop employs a mixture of Marshmello-esque pitched vocals and bouncy rhythm with deep house synths which unfortunately clash quite a bit. The sound is unique enough that it makes me perk up and think, “Oh, what’s this…” But after a while, I see why more people aren’t doing it.
