Snails and Pegboard Nerds have finally released their devastating collaboration “Deep In The Night,” and it’s everything we could have asked for. A brilliant combination of Pegboard Nerds’ energetic dubstep and Snails’ unsettling sound design, this new single slumps hard.
With an encompassing weight behind each snare hit and a kick to silence haters far and wide, the track serves up a heaping dose of dubstep that’s as intelligently arranged as it is poised for aggression. The overarching themes sounds like a crime scene battle fought in a sewage treatment center, and the second drop alone is enough to induce a quivering fit of rage, but we’ll leave that one a surprise…
