Marylouise Pels and Vanessa Giovacchini of the long-time duo POSSO have made some major waves in the dance music scene, but their latest project “Tidal Wave” is an undeniable hit.
The duo has had a part in many different fields beyond electronic music, such as fashion design and songwriting, but one of their biggest aspirations is to empower women to live beyond the bounds of society’s often oppressive rules. Having played festivals and venues all over the world like EDC Las Vegas and Summer Sonic Japan to designing clothing worn by stars like Rihanna and Lady Gaga, they are living proof of the joy that can come from chasing your dreams.
Staying true to the “Tidal Wave” lyrics, the POSSO girls are a force to be reckoned with as they mix the commanding vocals of Kaleena Zanders with a rolling bass line that gives a nod to the house sound we all know and love.
