Yotto may seem like a fresh face among the Anjunadeep family, but his deep and stylized sound makes it appear like he’s been running with the pack for years. Building momentum behind tracks such as ‘Personal Space‘ and ‘Aviate,’ his next ambition is to release an EP centered around the hit show ‘Twin Peaks.’
The first of this three-song EP was ‘Owls,’ which quickly garnered support from the likes of Pete Tong and others. The followup track is now ‘Cooper’s Cup,’ and it is everything we wanted it to be. Yotto’s signature low and chunky bass line synths bring a groovy foundation to the tune, while softer melodies dazzle their way through the upper frequencies. Well timed breaks give just enough time for the massive chords to work their magic, before the beat sucks you back into its infectious groove.
