EDM’s Favorite Ghost Producer Unveils Sample Pack

The man behind EDM anthems such as “Epic” and tracks from artists such as Yves VMaarten Vorwerk is EDM’s most recognizable ghost producer. Despite his secrecy in producing tracks for some of the biggest names in dance music, Vorwerk rose to the limelight over the past couple of years for interviews and his “Tip of the Week” posts on his Facebook account, which give production tips to aspiring producers. Now, Vorwerk is sharing his own personal sounds for others to use with the release of his very own sample pack.

It may sound like an April Fool’s joke, but Vorwerk has actually created and released his very own sample pack. The sample pack is actually a follow-up to Vorwerk’s previous sample pack (called a Soundset) he released for the Alonso Sound design company’s Sylenth1 virtual analog synthesizer, but this new sample pack for the Spire VST includes 128 presets over six categories. Alonso Sound posted a 10-minute demonstration of the pack on its Soundcloud account, giving producers a hint of the potential productions the sample pack can create. Bundled with the sample pack is a CD that compiles over 200 WAV samples from Vorwerk’s expansive production history.

It’s currently on sale at a discounted rate of $39 until September 7 (it goes up to $49 after that), and hardcore fans can even buy a bundle pack of the two sample packs for $74 at the Alonso Sound website.
