Last weekend, at Billboard’s Hot 100 Festival, Marshmello decided to premiere a fresh remix of Galantis’ “No Money.” While the new Marshmello interpretation sounds like the theme song to an over-caffeinated jungle gym league, we can certainly imagine the hype from hearing this played out live.
The tune isn’t anything to lose your sanity over, but there’s something about it that just seems to be trying too hard. I’ll stray from a scathing account of my emotional response to the track, and blame it on the poor sound quality, short clip and the unfortunate timing of mic use. Still, their on-stage wiggle woggle dance more than makes up for it, and we expect the full release to sound much better than this small clip.
