Producers Kaskade and CID have just extended their spree of 2016 collaborations with a brand new house track, “Sweet Memories.” Following their renowned track “US,” released more than five months ago, the new work sees the duo take a more grimy and club-oriented approach. The result is a powerful and instantly catchy song that is sure to be played out in intimate settings and festival stages alike.
It begins with sustained strings and a deadly synth loop before the vocals lead into the first drop. The synth loop is suddenly expanded to cover the entire mix, while a powerful kick and snare combination keep the energy moving forward. After a short rest, the song swells upwards once more, this time releasing into a drop scattered with cymbal hits and consistent vocal stings.
