There are few producers that I hear for the first time that really make me stand up and pay attention; Chris Avantgarde is one of them. I’ll admit that after seeing the Soundcloud stats at time of writing, I didn’t have very high hopes. However, as I’m honor bound to do, I listened to it and I was completely stunned.
Beautiful chord progressions, stunning synth work reminiscent of Kavinsky or Danger, and a soft, liquid DnB drumline – not to mention the vocals – layered together to create something of a masterpiece. As hard as I try, I can’t find anything wrong with “All Of The Lights.”
