The Chainsmokers shared a video last night of them playing out their latest his “Closer” in a packed arena with the entire crowd singing along. That was cool and all, but we had our sights set on the final five seconds of the video.
What we can only describe as an epic VIP or remix (we don’t know which) of the hit single comes over the speakers along with a dose of pyro and pyrotechnics, and the entire crowd just goes fucking bananas. The comment section too on the video is full of people asking, “WHAT WAS THAT REMIX AT THE END???”
We want to know just as badly as them – and with only five seconds to replay over and over and over again, we’re definitely more than ready to find out whose it is. Based on the sounds alone, we’d be willing to field a guess that Dillon Francis has something to do with it, though we can’t be sure at this point.
