Flume‘s debut album is still being lauded by all in the upper echelons of dance music as the indisputable album of the year, and we don’t disagree. Titled “Skin,” his album made waves around the world and continues to today with his expansive, accompanying international tour.
Now the Aussie looks to take on America, and more specifically the most praised venue in dance music, and the most acoustically perfect natural venue in the world, Red Rocks. Barely noticeable volume restrictions have ousted Bassnectar from the roost, and in turn left a void that needs to be filled – which is where Flume comes in. Tickets are going second-hand for hundreds of dollars, having been sold out for months, and the anticipation for tonight is palpable in every major (and minor) city around Colorado.
