Enter Shikari occupies a strange place in the hearts of many bass heads – I’ve personally never listened to their original work, but seemingly every junglist knows of them and holds them dearly. Listening to this new remix from Joe Ford of their track “Torn Apart,” I’m starting to get a clearer picture why.
It should be mentioned that there’s no producer quite like Joe Ford, and he’s proven that time and again with his unique and forward-thinking productions. This remix is a true testament to that vision, and I’ll try not to ruin it for you because it’s a real trip to listen to.
Vocals from Enter Shikari’s Rou Reynolds work brilliantly against the dark bassline and synths, and Joe Ford just seems to be able to bring out the best in everything. Listen below.
