We saw this same kind of marketing from McDonald’s not too long ago, but now Pizza Hut is hopping on the turntable game with their newest pizza boxes.
Right now, the “playable box” is only available in some select UK locations (probably because it’s infinitely more expensive to produce than just a plain cardboard shell), but it’s functional, and that’s what matters.
As the video states, it connects to your phone or laptop via Bluetooth, and it contains all the basic features that a normal turntable would. You can even stratch and fade between tracks. You’ll still need to download software like DJ Pro or Serato, but hey, it’s a lot cheaper than Technics or CDJs.
