As EDM bridges the gap ever closer to pure pop music, more and more artists are starting to get in on the action. And while pop performers are just now getting in on the featured artist game (think Bruno Mars, John Legend, etc.), hip hop has been a part of electronic music for much longer (think Dizzee Rascal, Plan B, Tinie Tempah, etc.).
Joining the ranks is Desiigner, the artist behind the viral sensation “Panda.” In an Billboard interview with the team behind Diplo, Ron Perry, President of SONGS Publishing, let slip that the two have a collaboration in the works. There’s no doubt that Diplo would be able to work with the mumbling rapper and have it come out as a hit, so why not?
There’s also apparently a collaboration waiting to happen between Diplo and country star Sam Hunt.
