We’re still reeling from the announcement of a Porter Robinson and Madeon collaboration last Thursday, let alone a live collaborative tour. Tickets went on sale this morning at 10am PST, and hopefully you were lucky enough to grab one.
The tour is going to be unlike anything anyone has ever seen from each artist, bringing together both of their styles in a true back-to-back live performance that you have to see to believe. Porter and Madeon recently caught up with triplej to talk about the tour and the process of creating their single, “Shelter.”
The interview goes into the topic of Madeon’s studio, which Porter says is thoroughly Madeon-esque. They also talk about how “Shelter” has never been played live, and how they preferred to stay away from teasers and keep fans on their toes. Check out the full interview below.
The “Shelter” tour starts September 29 in Atlanta. Tickets are mostly sold out, but you might get lucky if you keep checking.
