Ever since Major Lazer and Justin Bieber collaboration, “Cold Water,” was released in late July, we’ve known about the existence of a coveted remix by none other than Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane. With few updates surfacing since the initial report, we’ve been kept in the dark regarding its debut. Today, however, we’ve finally been met with a pleasant surprise.
Clocking in at just over three minutes, Gucci Mane’s flip of the track features one distinct verse and a custom arrangement, allowing the melody and vocals from the original to remain in the spotlight. As one of the many Gucci Mane features since his recent release from prison, it’s safe to say that 2016 is truly one of the best and most explorative years in his career.
