Not too long ago, LondonBridge released an incredible remix to Ookay’s “Thief” that completely reimagined the tune. Instead of the poppy future-ish original, LB’s interpretation took very specific stems from the original and created something almost entirely new. The saxophone riffs became part of the rhythm rather than just the drop, and the whole thing just has a fresh new groove to it.
In a crazy development, a fan in Spain looked up the video that LB used as cover art for the remix and made an entire music video for the release. Strangely enough, it really works.
