At this point I’m actually running out of describe ways to describe The Chainsmokers’ unrivalled ability to craft a hit record and their team’s ability to market the hell out of it.
According to the United States Top 50 Chart, the track is receiving close to 1,500,000 Spotify streams daily which is enough to claim #1 on the weekly US Spotify chart overtaking Major Lazer’s “Cold Water”. “Closer”, which features vocalist Halsey, debuted at #3 last week before receiving 9.813 million streams this week to climb to #1. For comparison, “Cold Water” wasn’t all too far behind with 9.203 million weekly streams and over 1.3 million daily streams.
