I get it. Steve Aoki‘s probably been hella busy between touring, his Netflix documentary, running DIM MAK, and who knows what else, and all of this is fairly reflected in his latest track with Deorro.
Titled “Be Yourself” the track is decidedly average, in my opinion, and feels more like two producers making half a song and sticking it together rather than a proper collaboration. The melody sounds like the work of Aoki and isn’t half bad, but once you get to Deorro’s drop, the piece sounds confused and soulless. Stream it below and decide for yourself.
