At this point, Deadmau5‘s deep-rooted affection for sports cars should come as no suprise. From the Purrari to the Purracan and P1, his collection is characterized by raw speed and ludicrous prices.
Back in April, Deadmau5 even took to his Twitch channel to live stream the process of applying to gain purchase access to the Ford’s 2017 GT. The car comes at the measly price of $400,000, and boasts a twin-turbo 3.5 liter V6 engine, 550 horsepower, active aerodynamics and a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The craziest part? Only 500 lucky applicants are slated to receive acceptance letters.
Lucky for Deadmau5, his came in the mail yesterday. He quickly posted a Twitter picture of the acceptance, and can be assumed to now be in the process of locking down his purchase. We can only imagine what kind of custom skin he’ll think up this time.
