In 2015, Natalie and Nicole Albino of Nina Sky proved they were here to stay when their collaboration with Diplo and Troyboi, “Afterhours” was released. It had been a long time since the 2004 hit “Move Ya Body” but the New York duo had no problem showing the music world that they could still command the dance floor.
This summer, the twins have released their latest single “Champion Lover” with a nod to their original dancehall sound and light hearted lyrics. Produced by Vito Fun and Koil Preample, “Champion Lover” is the first track to gain label support since the 2000s, but also the first of many. The track is the lead single off of their upcoming album titled Brightest Gold.
With over half a million streams on Spotify, “Champion Lover” is certainly setting up to be one of the hottest tracks of the summer. Check it out below!
