Coming straight out of Nashville, Super Duper has remained relatively lowkey up until this point. He first came into the spotlight last year with his EP Sessions Volume One, which established an impressive future bass arrangement that swept up praise across the web. Now he’s resurfaced to deliver his brand-new ethereal single, “Angela,” that shows off an immense amount of talent that is deserving of more worldwide attention.
The track contains an infectious energy that begins with escalating samples, dulcet vocals cuts, and fluttering synths, eventually impeded by layered percussion and an overall gorgeous overtone. It seems like light touring and late nights in the studio have given a refreshed refinement to Super Duper’s thriving production chops, and we can’t wait to hear what’s next.
