Justin Caruso has been charging hard through 2016, and after gaining the attention of 3lau, The Chainsmokers, and more, Caruso has put forth a glorious remix of Ellie Goulding’s “Army.”
The track features Caruso’s effervescent take on future bass, a voluptuous percussion arrangement, and rattling basslines to support a seasonal range of embellishments. Goulding’s vocals are left in tact to soar over the entire piece, and the breakdown’s joyous melody reinforces “Army’s” original theme. Here’s what Justin Caruso has to say about the remix:
“I was beyond humbled when Ellie’s team asked me to do an official remix for her. The song is about a best friend who makes you feel like your “standing with an army” when you’re with them which is pretty cool and unique from the standard sappy love song. I flipped this in the Justin Caruso sound I’ve been working so hard on, hope you guys enjoy.”
