Day 1 of Tomorrowland 2016 saw a whole lot of talent jampacked over a ton of stages, and with so many artists performing, plenty of new music was unleashed for the very first time. Below, we’ve collected some of our favorite IDs for your listening pleasure.
Otto Knows dropped a new ID midway into his set. Featuring an emotional intro led by some fat synths and some hearty male vocals, the track quickly turns into something that sounds like it could have been a collaboration with Avicii due to heavy country/bluegrass influences by way of some excellent string-work.
DVBBS kicked off their set with a reggaeton inspired number, which is supposedly a collaboration with GTA. With both pitched vocal chops and deep hip-hop style vocals, the track’s drop as just as hard as the song is diverse.
Alesso also got into the act, dropping an ID that he’s been playing through July at a few other festivals. Even though he only played it for about two minutes, it was plenty of time for the crowd to get right into the catchy and glitchy tune.
Late into Tiësto‘s set, the legendary DJ also dropped an ID, but unlike some of the other IDs we’ve featured, this one sounds like it’s almost ready to be released. With a deeper, future house-esque drop and a set of gorgeous male vocals, this track is definitely one to keep an ear out for.
Lastly, W&W dropped one minute of a supposed Julian Jordan ID. The Dutch duo has been playing this ID for sometime now from the Dutch wonder kid, who looks poised to take over main stages of his own soon enough if he keeps cranking out banger after banger.
