After a year-long break, Brooklyn’s David Heartbreak has returned with the Skyline EP, a scintillating mass of derelict synths that smacks straight to the cerebellum.
The title track kicks off the EP in stellar fashion, showcasing a piano meandering pleasantly over a hip hop inspired bassline. Moving along, “Jux” featuring Cy Kosis offers a heavier production that draws slightly from game-inspired nostalgia, and is sure to satiate his more bass hungry fandom.
