Muzzy – Crescendo feat. MYLK [Monstercat]

UK-based mastermind Muzzy is back on Monstercat with another jam. As Monstercat’s longest-running active drum ‘n’ bass producer, his appearance on their 5 Year Anniversary compilation is well-earned. Although I’ve never been an avid DnB fan, I’ve loved a number of Muzzy’s productions, especially his epic “Endgame,” which is arguably one of my all-time favorite Monstercat releases.

Muzzy’s newest release – “Crescendo” – is a playful tribute to his knowledge of music theory with the pun “rise it up like an endless crescendo.” The song is a ridiculous catchy jump-up drum ‘n’ bass banger, which brings on a new sound for Muzzy, but features enough of his production elements to be distinctly “Muzzy.” The production is accompanied with vocals by MYLK, who – oddly enough – made her Monstercat debut with this track.
