Happy Sometimes Revamps A Classic With Franz Ferdinand’s “Take Me Out”

It’s always refreshing to hear a new version a track that was well-received from the beginning. Sometimes it’s even better when an entirely different genre does the job right.

The twenty year old California native known as Happy Sometimes has done just that with Franz Ferdinand’s “Take Me Out.” The seductive synths and dreamy vocals have taken the track from its UK punk rock origin and transformed it into electronic heaven. With a bit of a What So Not type of vibe, Happy Sometimes will give you all the feels with this incredibly smooth track.

Having taught herself how to write music and begin producing at the early age of 14, Happy Sometimes has devoted her life to perfecting all aspects of her craft. Her debut EP, titled “Videotapes” is set to release July 29th on Northern Streams.
