TIL (that’s Today I Learned for non-Reddit users) that trap producer B-SIDES is also a GRAMMY-nominated hip-hop producer who’s worked with everybody from Dr. Dre to Lupe Fiasco. He got started in the world of EDM by teaching at the famed Icon Collective school which brings us to his first ever solo original single.
“KILLERS ON THE LOOSE” is definitely a banger, there’s no other way of putting it. The entire title is stylized in caps lock on SoundCloud so right from the get-go you should know what you’re getting yourself into. There’s such a wide range of emotions conveyed in this track between B-Sides’ slick production and Nevve’s sparkling vocals. It starts out slow with Nevve’s vocals slowly creeping, but all the while the tight percussion led production escalates and escalates before culminating in a euphoric drop with an almost orchestral atmosphere.
