HARD Summer took to Twitter recently to make a few announcements regarding their upcoming festival, slated to go down on July 30-31 near LA. This year is already a big one, with a new festival grounds, promises of bigger, better, and more stages, and the addition of a camp ground.
The festival also promises to include a VIP swimming pool for those with, you guessed it, VIP tickets. Box offices on-site will be able to upgrade GA tickets for those looking to get a little wet this summer. Along with the pool upgrade, HARD will also feature a few more stages, located in the festival camp grounds. Those wishing to keep the party going can do so until 2 A.M. at the Silent Disco.

In addition to this, HARD has also decided to eliminate their beer gardens, allowing patrons 21+ to roam the grounds freely, drink in hand.

This is a bold move as the festival has been under intense scrutiny since last year’s event, and may lead to an increase in security inside the festival to offset this.
Rounding off this week’s HARD Summer news is an announcement made by headliner Ice Cube on LA’s Power 106 radio station. The rapper claims he will be bringing his old group back, the legendary N.W.A., for a guest performance. Check it out below!
