The wonderfully mood-enhancing ‘Phoenix’ (We Rise) has just landed, the new single from Tom Swoon, Belle Humble and Dank. Released through Ultra Music, and a synth-heavy, vocal-led delight that rises (no pun intended) and falls with majestic energy, this track is a brilliant display of talent from all three artists.
We grabbed a few words from producer Swoon about the single – take a read through his thoughts below.
How did you come about writing the single with Belle Humble and Dank in the first place? Did you have an idea straight away of how you wanted it to sound?
It was actually Dank who stopped me at Ultra Music Festival and showed me the vocal from Belle Humble he was working on. I really liked it and I started working on it immediately after I got back from touring. We then made a couple of versions until were 100% satisfied with it. 
If you could sum up ‘Phoenix’ in three words, what would they be?
Uplifting, Indie, Energetic.
Have you had many chances to play this one out live yet? If so, how has it been received?
I have been playing this track for a couple of months now and the feedback has been incredible so far! Also across socials, my fans have been waiting for this one to come out.
