Musicals, Retail, And More On The Horizon For KANDY

Everything’s coming up KANDY!

Many artists dream of one day making it to the big stage to perform for incredible audiences, but it isn’t all that often that the stage it happens on is at Radio City Music Hall alongside one of the most famous live acts in theatre.

As the show opens tonight, June 30th,  New York native KANDY will have his music featured in The Rockettes New York Spectacular. The inclusion of the track “Vogue” with Juyen Sebulba in the show truly observes the reach electronic music now has.

Running from June 30th to August 7th, you should certainly check out the show described as “a love letter to summer in New York”. For more info, look here.

But if you can’t make it out to New York City this summer for a show at Radio City, never fear!

Having recently relocated to Los Angeles, KANDY is also ready to make his west coast debut at Avalon on July 8th alongside Rain Man, Max Styler, and Mr. Deeds.

KANDY was able to take a moment and tell us a little bit about his upcoming endeavors as well.

Avalon will be your first show in LA since you moved there. How does it feel?

“It’s super exciting considering the fact that I get to play for the people on the west coast who have been asking to see me over & over again! I have so much new music that I can’t wait to play for everyone and I’ve heard nothing but great things about Avalon!”

What kind of new music/sounds can fans get excited to hear?

“If there’s one thing I have to say about myself and my music it’s that I never limit myself to one genre. I think it’s extremely important to keep yourself well rounded in terms of music. I like to keep things exciting for myself when i’m in the studio and I find myself getting bored of things fast. I have music coming out ranging from jungle terror to drum & bass and I couldn’t be more excited for everyone to hear it all! We have about 41 WIPS and about 15 confirmed releases for the rest of the year, I’m beyond excited to share with everyone.”

Where else can we hope to see you on the west coast this summer?

“Right now I’m focusing on connecting even more with my fan base, which I’m really excited about. Shows are coming and we have some big news for the west coast soon, but right now, I want my fans to be more excited for the 20 unreleased records I’m dropping before the year is out, and less on my shows! Also, fans can check out my Selena Gomez Remix at every Hollister World Wide starting tomorrow! It’s so cool to see it all come together. My manager, Matt Medney, did a panel with Ted Keyes, the music supervisor at Hollister Co., and they stayed close. When the opportunity came, Ted really pushed for us and made it happen so I am super psyched about it! We really want to see how we can get creative with my music before the summer is over.”

With so much coming up, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the young producer.
