Puppet & Foria – I’m Here [Monstercat]

From his stunning Monstercat debut in 2014 to his stellar debut EP earlier this year, Puppet has continuously impressed listeners across the board. Puppet’s newest single – “I’m Here” – is a fantastic followup to Soft Spoken, which was his most collaborative project yet, featuring a number of guest vocalists and producers (six of them, to be exact). This time, Puppet is bringing along the talented melodic dubstep producer Foria, who we heavily praised in late 2015 for his gorgeous single “Ashes.”

“I’m Here” is distinctly Puppet in terms of sound style, but clearly has huge influence from Foria as well, with the track being carried by huge, bright melodies in a two-step format. After a massive debut like this, hopefully Monstercat will pick Foria up for regular solo releases.

The track also features two “mystery” vocalists, neither of which are officially listed in the track’s features. Earlier today, Richard Caddock – a fellow Monstercat artist – announced via Facebook note that the vocals were co-written and performed by himself and Puppet, marking Puppet’s very first vocal appearance.
