Tiësto has been edging away from his trance roots toward pop for years now, but it seems he’s finally made that final leap in a new collaboration with John Legend. The vocalist, who just recently collaborated with Kygo on his debut album, features on the track “Summer Nights,” a variation on the electronic pop sensibilities that have become increasingly common lately.
Legend’s vocals are predictably smooth, and Tiësto delves deeper into the deep house sound he’s become so fond of. Though it’s definitely mainstream and radio-friendly, it’s not an altogether bad track by any means. Stream it below.
