Calvin Harris & Rihanna turned the world’s heads with “This Is What You Came For,” and now the somewhat over-hyped single has received a remix EP worthy of expectation.
Grandtheft put forward one of the more intelligent redesigns we’ve heard in some time, playing off Rihanna’s vocals with emphatic future bass alongside a melody that’s entirely fresh. Tight, elegant, gated synths play around the crisp percussion to usher a bold departure from the original’s pop appeal.
R3hab and Henry Fong teamed up for their own big room rendition, giving the track a main stage electro presence that’s sure to surprise undulating crowds. And the Dillon Francis remix chews up the once radio friendly track and spits it out in purposeful, blown-out glory. 
Crafting a breakdown around Rihanna’s infectious “Ooo’s,” Dillon Francis’ iteration takes the cake as our personal favorite. Encouraging an unexpected bout of trap arms, the track fires off with sweltering production, and the warmth of the drum programming is enough to get your loins groovin’.
