Party Favor knows how to propel the vibes just so, and this newest production proves he’s got much more up his sleeve than rowdy anthems. Taking on DJ Snake’s “Talk,” Party Favor has set forth a melodically rich tune that releases an entirely different side of the original.
Torquing the shimmering piano backdrop against frictionless synth pads, this is nothing like the typical Party Favor we’re used to. The breakdown is simply marvelous, with a warm kick driving the melody home, and dropping off the slightly fuzzy topline with a gentle kiss goodbye. George Maple’s vocals are processed to complement the increased tempo beautifully, and every embellishment feels firmly set in its rightful place.
