We’re all still in shock from the weekend’s tragedies, and musicians far and wide have been paying their respects to the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting and Christina Grimmie’s murder. The latest tribute for Grimmie comes from Justin Bieber during a heartfelt performance on his Purpose tour.
On Saturday’s Winnepeg stop of the tour, Bieber dedicated “Purpose” to the 22-year-old singer, clearly holding back tears throughout the entire song. Falling to the floor during the performance, and at one point belting “Grimmie, can you hear me?” the dedication was a welcome moment amongst all the sadness that’s pervaded us all.
