As a club promoter, your job is to get people in the doors. You’re selling tickets or giving them away, but the end result should be a packed room and people buying lots of drinks. Promoters can often times be people passionate about the music they’re promoting; sometimes, however, a job is just a job.
Such is the case for this promoter in Las Vegas working for OMNIA/Jewel, who was just looking to get people in the doors of a Nicky Romero show. Little did he know… he was talking to Nicky Romero.
For what it’s worth, this guy seems like he works really hard at his job. Just maybe pay attention to the performer’s face on the billing, next time?
